Whats the average price for gas in Australia?
Posted by admin as Petrol Prices Australia
Right at this moment, this week how much is gas/petrol going for you guys?
Well depends where your talking about.
I live in the state of Western Australia, and fuel in the capital city of our state (Perth) is going for the following:
Unleaded: $1.29/L
Premium Unleaded $1.29/L
Diesel $1.39/L
Gas: $0.55/L
But in the town where I live (which is 3000kms from Perth), we are paying the following:
Unleaded: $1.49/L
Premium Unleaded: $1.49/L
Diesel: $1.69/L
So really it varies depending on where you are talking about. It is normally cheaper in cities
Gas: $0.99/L

In your opinion, do you think the government is doing anything to stop fuel prices from going higher?

It seems like you can sit there and hear politicians on the newscasts sit there and moan and grown on the high gas prices, but it seems to me that they (A) they don’t want to do anything about it, or (B) they can’t. I’m not sure what it might be but the prices are going to soon kill us where we all have to be lucky and survive without food and drinks at home, etc. I’m afraid. All I know is, it’s getting rediculous.
Lobbyists, in Bed with the Oil Companies, Sharing the profits.
That’s about all!
Bush Administration says they want alternatives.
Yet COUNTLESS, EFFICIENT ways are produced (but not by major companies) and are rejected.
It’s just for MONEY. Oh, profits! The government CAN.
Look, my local municipality wants to charge everyone with wells a flat rate.
Excuse me? We pay for the electrical pump to pump our water from our source, not city water. If they can charge the citizen to pump water, the same should apply to oil.
But it won’t.
Not when you’re in bed with the Middle east and oil exe’s.
And it’s not just Republicans. It’s Democrats. Independents.
When people learn through public office they can exploit, thats when democracy doesn’t run efficiently.
But what do I know, I’m only sixteen.
