Mom bought some …
Mom bought some high temperature furnace cement- “Makes metal to metal joints smoke and gas tight- smooth, non-gritty formula withstands 2000 degree Farenheit temperatures.” Hopefully that will do the trick for me. I saw your video; it was very interesting how they did that. Looks like yours is coming along very nicely. I wish you good luck and a Merry Christmas
Kyle

Kyle, When you fix …
Kyle, When you fix the element in – use high temp. gasket maker (looks like a small squeeze tube of silicon). I’ve just done mine – video soon. Check out my lasted video (Adapter plate)

Hahaha well I would …
Hahaha well I would love to have my adapter plate back so I could install the motor.. it seems like everything follows that because all of the goods (controller and other electrical goodies) will be mounted above the motor- I hate to put that stuff in just to remove it right away. I would begin making battery racks and installing batteries, but then I have to worry about weight distribution, and that’s kinda tough without the motor.. so yea everything is on hold until the plate arrives

Yea I thought about …
Yea I thought about buying one, but after the dash removal I should basically be done with the stock components of the Daytona.. Taking out the displays and radio were pretty easy, speedometer proved to be a little more difficult.. The bottom half of the dash was the tough part, but it went well overall. I sure am trying to make some money haha like that little sales pitch at the end?

WOOOHOOOOO See …
WOOOHOOOOO See persistance pay’s off. So whats next? Not like that was easy or something. LOL

I had to replace …
I had to replace all of the bulbs in my dash and display console on my 89 daytona last year and it took me little under 30 min to complete the job, its amazing how much faster things go when u now what your doing. OH u should go out and get a tare down manual of the daytona. I got one from Canadian tire for a decent price, it would make things a lot easier for yah. haha a little comedy is nice. U should just remove the old heating elmnt entirely its just extra wait. tryingtomakea litle cash?haha
