ATTENTION: Apparently chevron oil (corrupt American oil company) bought the rights to NiMH battery technology so they could prevent auto manufacturers from using it to build more efficient hybrid vehicles and force us to keep buying gasoline. The name of the company that produced the NiMH batteries used to be Ovionic Battery Systems, but Chevron and Texaco bought the company and changed the name to Cobasys and made it impossible for auto manufacturers to buy the batteries. I would say that the people pretty much have it right. I would also say that this can be said for our current “energy crisis”, as well.

The US Federal Reserve is to blame for the world oil price crisis, and the world food price crisis.

They have been flooding the world with USD to prop up the unsustainable US economy, devaluing the USD and making everything traded in it (ie oil, wheat, rice, etc.) to spike.
