They set the prices AFTER the price per barrel was set by foreign countries..if we DO drill in our country, we’ll at least get oil for about 20-30 years…thats not long, but like i said it will lower prices, boost our economy, and let us focus on alternative energy nd not just oil from Ira and places like that

Do you really think Gas Companies would be willing to drop the price to help people? They have been making record profits and argue they earned every penny of it. It is not the countries that set prices. Companies and OPEC do. And how long is that oil going to last?

ok-we COULDNT drill 5 years ago because CONGRESS BANNED DRILLIN G ON OUR OWN SOIL! now Congress has lifted the ban, so we can drill in our own country…do some research before you bring ur y attitude to youtube

a quarter difference? are u kidding me? it would drop the prices down at least a dollar, because we wouldnt have to depend on Iran for gas, which set ungodly prices because they are the largest supplier…if we get our own, we can set extremely low prices and we wouldnt have to worry about transporting acros the whole Atlantic Ocean…it would make a much bigger difference than just 25 cents…and if we do get our own oil we can concentrate our time & $ on getting fuel Efficient cars…
