I was hoping that the high unemployment rate would keep so many people home it would offset the usual spike in demand during the summer months, but I guess even when demand is flat they still tweak it up, they “momentarily” shut down some refineries, some pipelines for “much needed repairs” and BOOM! Your asking yourself why did I buy a Hummer. LoL I traded my 18mpg minivan for my near 40mpg Yaris 1 1/2 ago because I saw this coming.

Go and buy some european or japanise cars…better economy and they can go around bends without ending in the ditch. I have a VW golf GTD chipped to 160 bhp. And I get 18 km/l out of it.

10 mnths ago i was paying 95.9p per litle of diesel now its 131.9p per litre
unleaded fuel from 92.9p – 117.9p
They now say britain has the dearest fuel in europe with malta being the cheapest with only 37p a litre about just under $3 a gallon
they say it could be could be 1.50 by the end of the year and 200p by next year about $16 a gallon.not sure if any1 has seen the news alot of europe garages are running dry due to strikes

The oil companies are making billions of dollars in profits. They are also pushing the economy into a recession with their high gas prices. Once we slide into a recession, there will be a lot of foreclosures and real estate prices will fall. There will be a lot of bargains for those with a lot of cash to spend. You guessed it! The oil companies will be the ones buying up everything for dimes on the dollar!
