We invested in automotive because we thought that it would have been profitable and more efficient. We simply invested in the wrong technology. We need to invest in cleaner energy but we can’t make progress because we’re forced to buy what we can. Korea has great public transport, we don’t. Countries you mentioned do not rely on travel as much. When my wife lived in Czech she traveled by bus and walked, in the US, had to get a car. You just don’t know what you’re talking about.
