ROBBEDBYBIGOIL says February 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

Thanks for the …
Thanks for the laughs

again you are wrong …
again you are wrong. the Ethanol pipe dream is already failing. the amount of fuel this country needs is too much for a farming industry to keep up with. you have a choice: grow food to eat or grow food to drive. besides which ethanol is made mostly from corn which is water intensive. one dry season like last year and all of a sudden its a fuel crisis. and you obviously haven’t even considered the fact that no one will buy ethanol cars with all the “what if’s” attached.

ROBBEDBYBIGOIL says February 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

LOL your funny ! No …
LOL your funny ! No one needs fossil fuel ! what I suggest we do is use all of the alteratives Ethanol – veggie oil -solar ect. We dont need your kind of oil to produce any of these they even use corn to make plastic bags
I can go for days explaining why we dont need oil
Good by oil you have screwed over America for the last time!

you’re smart, but …
you’re smart, but not realy. production costs of synthetic oil are 2-4 times higher than natural oil. at times it has been 10 times and this is before a nationwide switch to synthetic. something cannot be made from nothing smart one, it’s a law in physics. to “make” synthetic oil just like making hydrogen we use energy and where does it come from? fossil fuels. oil is in the ground already. it’s a great source of fuel and money. it’s really quite obvious what we should do.

ROBBEDBYBIGOIL says February 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

your no brain …
your no brain surgeon are you ? we can make our own oil and have for many years
there is just no need to drill it out the ground

and be replaced by …
and be replaced by what? fact of the matter is it won’t go away because you and everyone you know uses it. solar is a joke, wind is a joke. both are expensive and produce little. so what do we use? majic?

ROBBEDBYBIGOIL says February 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

Oil Needs To Go Away
Oil Needs To Go Away

yeah right. they …
yeah right. they allllll got together and are friends and agree on everything. OPEC controls prices and neither us, nor Russia are members. oil companies will get record profits because consumers keep buying gas in RECORD numbers. production costs and tax on gas is a matter of public record. see for yourself hoiw much it takes to refine a barrel of crude oil into gasoline. then maybe you’ll insist we start drilling here.

ROBBEDBYBIGOIL says February 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

Because if they all …
Because if they all get together and agree to raise the price so they can make a killing (which they did)
you act like they didnt profit in the last few years
come on man do you really think people are going to believe that the price went up because of costs ? if that were true they wouldnt have record profits

no one will believe …
no one will believe it because few in this country understand business. prices go up due to production costs, taxes and speculation. that’s business. if one oil company COULD sell their product for less and beat the competition they would.

ROBBEDBYBIGOIL says February 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

No one is going to …
No one is going to believe the oil compaines arent making a profit. How much did the oil companies make when gas was over 4.00 a gallon how much did it hurt the american family how much of a tax break did the oil companies get over the past 8 years. the american people paid the taxes the oil companies didnt pay

after production …
after production costs the oil companies actually profit about five cents per galon of your gasoline. the state and federal government profit 50-60 cents depending on the state. so who’s greedier? and who is more able to lower the price of gasoline?

ROBBEDBYBIGOIL says February 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

they did cut …
they did cut production they are willing to do nearly anything to get the prices back up

ROBBEDBYBIGOIL says February 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

isnt everything …
isnt everything taxed ? Gas is expensive because oil companies got greedy I want to see oil companies go thru what all the rest of us went thru, after all they are the ones who created it

GAS ISSUE
GAS ISSUE

the price of gas …
the price of gas wouldn’t be so bad if you removed the tax on it. the Fed and State governments are the real greedy.

I heard on the news …
I heard on the news that OPEC was thinking about cutting oil production so that the price can jump back up.

Its all about greed …
Its all about greed. Period.

maunaowakea777 says February 18th, 2009 at 2:46 pm

on the day that …
on the day that ENRON went out of business the price of electricity being sold into california from oregon dropped in HALF.

ENRON was a US Govt …
ENRON was a US Govt company

Enron manipulated …
Enron manipulated the electricity market by manipulating supply… the speculative side of the equation was buying/ selling from a supply base controlled by corrupt manipulation of the physical commodity..ie not some price rise created by speculation itself.. then greenberger admitts that its not speculation but hoarding.. which means it should be trackable

Oil was $27 a …
Oil was $27 a barrel when we went into Iraq…..now it is above $140.

can anyone tell me …
can anyone tell me which WTC building housed the SEC (and their investigation of Enron)?
