What is the price of petrol around the world, is fuel cheaper in the USA, Australia, or UK ?

In Australia we pay about $1.35 AUD per Litre, i'm not sure what that equals per gallon as we use the metric system! The $AUD (Australian Dollar) is about $0.89USD and I think about 0.44 pound. So in translation across the board who pays more for fuel, US, UK or Australia ?
Some one help us with the gallon/Litre thing, i'm to lazy to look it up…
Thanks halloween, that means in Australia we would be paying about $5.10 AUD per gallon, with the USD comparison closer to $6.00 per gallon, wow we are paying through the nose. It cost me $75.00 AUD to fill up my 60 Litre V8 Statesman tank.
Ok, I may be wrong! Maths was never my strong point…

$1.35 AUD x 3.78541 = $5.11 AUD/gallon
$5.11 AUD = $4.40 USD

In the UK its gone ridiculous, over £1 a litre, goto http://www.xe.net for conversions.

sounds like australia has the cheapest gas to me, here in the u.s. we pay anywhere from $2.50 to $4.00 a gallon, but i don't know which is bigger, a gallon or a litre.
i just looked it up and 1 gallon= about 3.78 litres.
so you pay the equivalent of about 3.36 us dollars for a gallon, and where i live it's 3.01 a gallon.

I'm American and I just moved back to the States from Italy where my husband was stationed in the Military. Over there, gas was 5 or 6 Euro, which equals around 7 or 8 US Dollars. Yeah, I thought we Americans had it bad until I saw what Italians and other European Countries were paying!
